Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Syed Firdous Shamim Naqvi has won PS-101 with 28034 votes.

Karachi East (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Syed Firdous Shamim Naqvi has won PS-101 with 28034 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate won in PS-101 Karachi East-III constituency with 28034 votes.

In 2013 general elections, Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan candidate Jamal Ahmed was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 46174 votes. The second runner up was Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Abdul Rehman Kakarh who got 19159 votes.

At least 22 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in PS-101. In 2013 elections, there were 158022 voters registered in PS-101, out of which 81305 votes were polled out.

In 2013 elections, the voter turn-out from this constituency was recorded as 51.56 %. Detailed results can be found here
