Karachi West (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan candidate Sadaqat Hussain has won PS-117 with 25441 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan candidate won in PS-117 Karachi West-VI constituency with 25441 votes.

In 2013 general elections, Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan candidate Dr Sagheer Ahmed was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 43924 votes. The second runner up was Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Ahsan Jabbar who got 21750 votes.

At least 18 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in PS-117. In 2013 elections, there were 157223 voters registered in PS-117, out of which 78969 votes were polled out.
