Karachi Central (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan candidate Muhammad Abbas Jafferi has won PS-128 with 29285 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan candidate won in PS-128 Karachi Central-VI constituency with 29285 votes.

In 2013 general elections, Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan candidate Waqar Hussain Shah was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 23827 votes. The second runner up was MUTAHIDA DEENI MAHAZ candidate Allama Moullana Aurangzaib Farooqui who got 23625 votes.

At least 38 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in PS-128. In 2013 elections, there were 149401 voters registered in PS-128, out of which 65987 votes were polled out.
