According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians candidate won in PS-37 Shaheed Benazirabad-I constituency with 55524 votes.

In 2013 general elections, Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians candidate Muhammad Ali Khan Bhutto was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 39128 votes. The second runner up was Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate Amir Bux Bhutto who got 34919 votes.

At least 30 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in PS-37. In 2013 elections, there were 163256 voters registered in PS-37, out of which 96803 votes were polled out.
