According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians candidate won in PS-62 Hyderabad-I constituency with 35275 votes.

In 2013 general elections, Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians candidate Makhdoom Khalil u Zaman was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 36859 votes. The second runner up was Independent candidate Arbab Anwar Jabbar who got 28670 votes.
