Grand Democratic Alliance candidate Muhammad Shahryar Khan Mahar has won PS-8 with 37706 votes.

Shikarpur (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Grand Democratic Alliance candidate Muhammad Shahryar Khan Mahar has won PS-8 with 37706 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Grand Democratic Alliance candidate won in PS-8 Shikarpur-II constituency with 37706 votes.

In 2013 general elections, Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians candidate Sardar Muhammad Bakhsh Khan Mahar was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 61714 votes. The second runner up was Pakistan Muslim League (F) candidate Zaheeruddin Babar Ali Lund who got 21150 votes.

At least 15 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in PS-8. In 2013 elections, there were 143696 voters registered in PS-8, out of which 87401 votes were polled out.
