PSQCA Seals Ittehad Ghee Industry, Godown
LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th july,2016) : The Pakistan Standard Quality Control Authority (PSQCA) sealed a ghee/oil mill with its godown for manufacturing and selling substandard ghee. PSQCA Spokesman Asghar Ali told the media on Thursday that a special team raided Ittehad Ghee/Oil and General Industry at Okara-Depalpur Road where substandard ghee and oil were preparing.
It is pertinent to mention here that the oil mill was working without having a lisence. The team also seized a huge quantity of substandard ghee and oil in the godown besides sealing its production unit and collecting some samples for a laboratory analysis. He said substandard oil and ghee were being sold in market with a name of "Fazl and Raheem Banaspati" using a logo of 'Pakistan Standard' illegally.
