PSX Closes At Highest Level Of 49,038 Points

KARACHI, Jan 6 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 06th Jan, 2017 ) : The pakistan stock exchange (PSX) on Friday closed at the highest-ever level of 49,038.23 points with a surge of 324.6 points in the KSE- 100 index.
On the week's last day of trading on Friday, a bullish trend was witnessed in the psx which crossed the psychological barriers of 48,900 and 49,000 and with an increase of 324.
60 points the KSE index closed at 49,038.23.
There was an increase of 112.12 points in the KSE 30 index which closed at 26,661.31 points. There was a surge of Rs.2.65 billion in the trading volume. In all, 423 companies' shares were traded with increase in 264 companies' shares while there was a decline in the shares of 140 companies while those of 19 companies remained stable.
