PTI 100 Days Agenda To Ensure Improvement In Six Areas

Senior Minister Punjab Abdul Aleem Khan Monday said speedy implementation on PTI government's 100 days agenda was underway as it would bring significant improvement in six discrete areas including health, education, agriculture, water scarcity, social services and job creation.
LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Oct, 2018 ) :Senior Minister Punjab Abdul Aleem Khan Monday said speedy implementation on PTI government's 100 days agenda was underway as it would bring significant improvement in six discrete areas including health, education, agriculture, water scarcity, social services and job creation.
"Work has almost been done on introduction of a new local governments system and will soon be presented in the Punjab Assembly for legislation," he added.
Speaking to this scribe at his Punjab assembly chamber, he said priority was being given to quick implementation of three points; improving facilities in hospitals' emergency, provision of free medicines and clean drinking water to every citizen and for the purpose, work had already been started on war-footing.
Similarly, he said a comprehensive plan had also been evolved for provision of employment to the jobless, promotion of skills based education, homes to the homeless and alleviation of poverty.
The Senior minister said special incentives were being offered for promotion of cottage industry so that educated youth could be made self-reliant through loan facility.
The minister concerned, he said was working on the programme.
Answering a question, Aleem Khan said Punjab government under the leadership of Chief Minister Punjab Usman Buzdar was proceeding towards right direction and taking every possible step to resolve peoples problems at their doorsteps.
To another query, the minister said the opposition was not playing its due role in the Punjab assembly by avoiding House's proceedings. "They should come and discuss their issues within the House and not outside," he said adding the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) taken the PML-N leaders in custody and not on instance of the government.
Aleem Khan, however said crusade against corruption would continue and looted public wealth would be recovered atall cost.
