Arif Jutt of PP-59 got ticket in Rs 5 crore
Lahore (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 22nd June, 2018) There have been reports that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN) took a large amount of money from electables in the pretext of party funding. However, it has now been revealed that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) gave party ticket to Arif Jutt of PP-59 in Rs 5 crore.
According to a news report published in a local newspaper, the country’s intelligence agencies have conducted Arif Hussain Jutt’s money trail due to which the PTI is reconsidering whether to give him a ticket or not.
The final decision in this regard will be taken in two days.
It was earlier revealed that Arif Jutt gave Rs 5 crore to the party to get election ticket. Following the revelation, secret agencies started investigations into PTI for awarding tickets in return for money.
The PTI leaders are worried upon Arif Jutt’s money trail and are now reconsidering awarding him ticket.
Arif Jutt belonged to PMLN before joining PTI.
He is also known as an investor to PMLN.
Arif Jutt has denied giving Rs 5 crore to the party and said these reports are based on propaganda.
PTI chairman Imran Khan had earlier asked the candidates aspiring to contest elections from his party not to give money to any member of the party.
Taking a bold step, Imran Khan asked the aspiring candidates to report to the party if someone demands money from them in return for an election ticket from PTI.
He also gave a number publicly to report to the party if anyone faces such a thing.
The PTI chairman said that he will be deciding the final allocation of tickets.
“Any PTI mbr who asks for money from a prospective candidate in return for a PTI ticket; or anyone you know who gives money in order to get favoured for a PTI ticket must be reported to the Party by calling this no: 0303 5375113. I will be deciding the final allocation of tickets,” Imran Khan tweeted.
