PTI Govt Committed To Root Out Corruption: Minister

Provincial Minister for Industries and Trade Mian Aslam Iqbal has said that corruption is a root cause of all problems being faced by the country.
LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Oct, 2018 ) :Provincial Minister for Industries and Trade Mian Aslam Iqbal has said that corruption is a root cause of all problems being faced by the country.
Addressing party workers while visiting his constituency on Friday, he said due to corruption of former rulers, the country's institutions were ruined and national economy was suffering and problems like poverty, unemployment had also increased.
Even those who made tall claims of transparency and saving resources started hue and cry when stories of their corruption came in light, he added.
He said the PTI's government was following zero tolerance policy against corruption and fully committed to completely eliminate it from the country.
Mian Aslam Iqbal said: "The nation wants accountability of plunderers of the national wealth".
The minister said the PTI's government had launched a revolutionary project of constructing five million houses which would materialise dreams of shelterless people of having their own house.
This project would not only generate millions of new job opportunities but flourish the industries related to the housing sector, he maintained.
He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan, the incumbent government was heading towards a new Pakistan where the common man would get respect, justice and employment.
