ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 7th May, 2019 ) : Federal Parliamentary Secretary Railway Mian Farrukh Habib Tuesday said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government was implementing the agenda of public service and comprehensive measures had been taken for public welfare.
Talking to Private news channel , he made it clear that hoarders and profiteers would not be allowed to create artificial price-hike during the holy month of Ramadan.
He said that provision of quality essential items to the citizens at fixed rate was the responsibility of the government and no negligence would be tolerated in this regard.
Farrukh Habib said the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf government was sincere in its efforts to eradicate poverty and remain committed to facilitate the poor across the country.
PTI government was striving to make Pakistan a prosperous state where people could enjoy better basic facilities, he added.
He said Pakistan was in the right position to move ahead in terms of economy and development.
Replying to a Question, he said local government system was very important as it would bring positive change in terms of good governance, poverty alleviation and transfer of powers.
It was a demand of the nation to bring a system where locally elected people could come up and address the issues, he added.
