PTI Inherited Flawed System From Previous Governments: Federal Parliamentary Secretary For Railways Farrukh Habib

Federal Parliamentary Secretary for Railways Farrukh Habib Thursday said that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government inherited a flawed system from the previous governments of Pakistan Muslim League-N and Pakistan People's Party
ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Apr, 2019 ) :Federal Parliamentary Secretary for Railways Farrukh Habib Thursday said that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government inherited a flawed system from the previous governments of Pakistan Muslim League-N and Pakistan People's Party.
Talking to ptv news channel, he said the previous governments had taken loans carelessly and increased foreign debts during the last 10 years.
Farrukh Habib said the PTI government's reforms would bear fruit in future and claimed the government had plans to make Pakistan a prosperous country.
He said that affordable housing scheme, shelter homes for the common man were the PTI government's flagship programmes, which would not only overcome the housing backlog in the country, but also keep the wheel of the economy moving and help the government address the prevailing financial crisis.
PTI government would fulfill its promises which the party had made with the people. Its performance was far better than the previous governments, he remarked.
"The governments of both PPP and the PML-N destroyed the state institutions", Farrukh said adding that the country is at the verge of economic collapse due to bad governance of the past regimes.
He said it was positive development and important step towards improving social indicators in the country and now "our relations with Iran also improving, which was a good sign for economic stability of the country," he said.
Replying to a question, he said the PTI government was determined to improve living standard of people of FATA.
He also asked the parliamentarians to come forward and raised their voices for the rights of tribal people as tribesmen can better contribute in Pakistan's progress and prosperity.
Farrukh Habib said the problems of unemployment in the country would also be addressed on priority basis and new job opportunities would be explore for the country's youth where tribal youth would be facilitated equally.
He said the government was committed to establishing state of the art hospitals and educational institutions in the tribal districts besides providing jobs to the people of these areas.
He said that Sehat Insaf Cards, which had already been extended to most districts of the province would soon be extended to the tribal districts.
