PTI MNAs From Karachi To Participate In Local Jirga In South Waziristan

Members National Assembly of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf from Karachi including, Alamgeer Khan Mehsud and Saif-ur-Rehman Mehsud and Member Provincial Assembly, Rabistan Khan has arrived in South Waziristan to participate in jirga of local tribal elders here on Wednesday

SOUTH WAZIRISTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Jan, 2019 ) :Members National Assembly of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf from Karachi including, Alamgeer Khan Mehsud and Saif-ur-Rehman Mehsud and Member Provincial Assembly, Rabistan Khan has arrived in South Waziristan to participate in jirga of local tribal elders here on Wednesday.

Talking to media persons, Rabistan Khan Mehsud said purpose of the visit was to meet local Mehsud and Barki tribes and make efforts to resolve their issues and problems.

He said that the visiting parliamentarians would made efforts to release funds, conduct survey in the remaining parts of the area and increasing the assistance funds for houses damaged in Operation Rah-e-Nijat. He assured that demands and concerns of tribal people would be conveyed to Prime Minister Imran Khan and relevant authorities.

Rabistan Khan said that a grand jirga of Mehsud and Barki tribes would be held on January 17 (Thursday) in Political Compound Tank.
