PTI Outclasses Rival Political Parties In Malakand, Mardan Divisions

Pakistan Tahrik-e-Insaf emerged single largest political party in KP with a strong position to form second consecutive Govt for next five years (2018-23), outclassed rivals political parties in Malakand and Mardan divisions where it swept away most the of national and provincial assembly's seats during July 25 elections.
PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th Jul, 2018 ) :Pakistan Tahrik-e-Insaf emerged single largest political party in KP with a strong position to form second consecutive Govt for next five years (2018-23), outclassed rivals political parties in Malakand and Mardan divisions where it swept away most the of national and provincial assembly's seats during July 25 elections.
PTI secured all three seats of National Assembly from Swat district where its MNAs-elect Dr Haider Ali Khan on NA-2 secured 61687 votes, Salimur Rehman on NA-3 bagged 68162 votes and Murad Saeed on NA-4 obtained 71600 votes respectively.
Similarly, PTI had defeated Jumat e Islami in their stronghold Dir Upper and Lower districts from where PTI's MNAs elect Sabagatullah Khan on NA 5 secured 66545 votes, Bashir Khan on NA-6 obtained 63017 and Bashir Khan on NA-7 bagged 63017 votes respectively.
Likewise, Junaid Akbar Khan of PTI had clinched the lone NA-8 Malakand after securing 81310 votes, defeating PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari bagged only 43724 votes.
The lone NA seat of Buner was also clinched by PTI's MNA elect Sher Akbar Khan after securing 58037 votes.
However, PTI had lost the lone NA-I Chitral seat to MNA elect Abdul Akbar Chitrali of MMA who secured 48616 votes against PTI's Abdul Latif's 38481 votes whereas NA-10 Shangla seat was secured by PMLN candidate Dr Ebad Khan elected MNA after obtaining 34070 votes.
Likewise, PTI won two out of three national assembly seats from Mardan district from where PTI's Mujahid Ali secured an easy victory on NA-20 with 78140, Ali Muhammad of PTI won NA-22 with 58577 votes respectively. However, former Chief Minister KP Amir Haider Khan Hoti of ANP who bagged 78911 defeated PTI candidate Atif Khan obtained 78878 votes with only 33 votes margin.
Similarly, PTI also swept away Swabi district from where former Speaker KP Assembly Asad Qasier was elected MNA on NA-18 after securing 78970 votes and Usman Khan Tarkai had won NA-19 with 83093 votes respectively.
Former Chief Minister KP Pervez Khattak and his son-in- law Dr Imran Khan Khattak had also secured won from NA-25 and NA-26 Nowshera respectively on ticket of PTI.
In Charsadda, PTI had clinched all two NA seats where Fazal Muhammad Khan and Anwar Taj had defeated ANP Chief Asfandyar Wali Khan on NA-24 and Qumi Watan Party Chairman Aftab Ahmed Khan Sherpao on NA-23 Charsadda-I. The PTI tsunami had also made deep inroads in Hazara division from where Umar Ayub Khan of PTI defeated PMLN Babar Nawaz Khan on lone Haripur seat.
