PTI's Umer Tanveer wins PP-15 elections

Pakistan Thehreek e Insaf (PTI) candidate Umer Tanveer has won election from Punjab Assembly constituency PP-15 Rawalpindi-X by securing 38,429 votes.

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th Jul, 2018 ) :Pakistan Thehreek e Insaf (PTI) candidate Umer Tanveer has won election from Punjab Assembly constituency PP-15 Rawalpindi-X by securing 38,429 votes.

According to unofficial results announced by the Election Commission of Pakistan, Malik Iftikhar Ahmed of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz stood second by securing 22,263 votes and Tahir Mehmood of Tahreek-e-Labaik Pakistan grabbed third position by getting 4,082 votes.

Voter turnout was recorded at 52.03%.
