Punjab Cabinet Committee For Law & Order Reviews Muharram Arrangements

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News -21st Sept,2016) : Punjab Cabinet Committee for Law & Order headed by Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah Khan visited here on Tuesday to review the Muharram arrangements.
Home Secretary Punjab Maj (R) Azam Suleman, IG Punjab Mushtaq Sukhera, MPA Jahangir Khanzada and Additional IG Special Branch Faisal Shahkar were included in Punjab Cabinet Committee which held a meeting with divisional, districts and police administrations.
Acting Commissioner/DCO Salman Ghani and RPO Bilal Siddique Kamyana briefed the committee about the Muharram arrangements. Parliamentarians Rajab Ali Baloch, Shehbaz Babar, Begum Khalida Mansur, Ch.
Afzal Sahi, Begum Najma Afzal, Fatima Fareha, Haji Khalid Saeed, Muhammad Nawaz Malik, Haji Ilyas Ansari, Faqir Hussain Dogar, Mian Tahir Jamil, Rana Shoaib Idrees, Arif Mehmud Gill, Naeemullah Gill, Jafar Ali Hocha, Maulana Ilyas Chinioti, Muhammad Khan Baloch and others were also preset in the meeting.
Rana Sanaullah directed the divisional and district administrations for devising a solid and comprehensive strategy to make the Muharram arrangements successful.
He said that foolproof security arrangements should be finalized from all angles keeping in view the on ground facts.
He said that no violation of timing of processions and use of loudspeakers should be reported and comprehensive arrangements should be made keeping in view the experience of last years. He said that "Peace March" should be arranged in which parliamentarians, local bodies representatives, members of peace committee and civil society be participated to highlight the message of sense of protection and religious harmony.
Home Secretary Punjab Maj. (R) Azam Suleman stressed the need of mobilizing security gadgets and installation of CCTV Cameras on vulnerable points besides setting up Muharram Control Rooms at divisional and district level.
The parliamentarians gave their proposals for devising comprehensive strategy to make the Muharram security arrangement successful. IG Punjab Mushtaq Sakhera directed the police to complete all security measures according to the check list and four layers security should be ensured at vulnerable points of Muharram processions.
