
Punjab Education Department Takes Major Step To Promote Transparency

CHINIOT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Jul, 2025) The Punjab Education Department has taken a significant administrative step to promote transparency, efficiency, discipline, and a professional environment in district offices. In this regard, under the clear instructions of Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat Khan and the formal approval of Deputy Commissioner Chiniot/Administrator District Education Authority Chiniot, Chief Executive Officer District Education Authority Zafar Iqbal has issued orders for the transfer of all clerical staff who have served in the same office for three consecutive years or more.
According to the details, this step aims to bring about institutional improvement, transparency in service delivery, and significant improvement in overall educational quality.
By rotating clerical staff, the department expects to inject fresh perspectives and ideas, reducing the likelihood of complacency and promoting a more dynamic work environment.
The Chief Executive Officer while exclusively talking to APP, emphasized that the Punjab government is giving top priority to the education sector, and it is the common responsibility of all officials to implement this vision at the district level. The transfer policy is a key component of this effort, aimed at ensuring that educational institutions are managed efficiently and effectively. All concerned officers have been directed to ensure immediate and complete implementation of the orders issued and send a report in this regard to the office, he further added.
