Punjab Food Authority Seizes 39,6000 Sachet, Sealed 4 Outlets

The Punjab Food Authority (PFA) under its ongoing drive sealed four outlets while 39,6000 cola flavor sachet and 23,338 packets of snacks were seized in various areas of the city here Tuesday.
According to PFA spokesman Muhammad Usman , the Authority's teams sealed Mama Jee Fish point and Saee Jee Fish Point for selling sub-standard fish that was preserved with the coating of hazardous chemicals.
The PFA also sealed one godown at Murree road and seized 39,6000 cola flavored sachet and 23,338 packets of snacks whose labels of expiry date had been changed for sale.
Similarly, the Authority shut down Abid Oil Depot in Rawal Town area for producing adulterated oil and failing to maintain the hygiene working environment, he added. The teams also issued notices to several outlets to improvecleanliness. He further said that strict action is being taken against violators to ensure provision of hygienic food to the residents.
