Punjab Govt's Vision To Promote Tourism Appreciated

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Oct, 2018 ) :Tourist consultants on Tuesday appreciated the provincial government's vision and commitment for the promotion of tourism in the province.

A representative of tourism services Maqsood Ahmad Chughtai while reacting on provincial budget for fiscal year 2018-19 said, "Tourism plays significant role in strengthening the economy and projecting soft image of the country.

" He said it was very pleasing that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf government had given due attention to the tourism sector along with other sectors in provincial budget.

With the grace of Allah Almighty and sincere efforts of the government, all sectors including agriculture, education and others would improve with the passage of time, he maintained.

He said Punjab had huge tourism potential, only proper attention was vital to obtain maximum benefits.
