Punjab Ordinance Against Fake Number Plates

(UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 20th july, 2016) : For the prevention of unofficial number plates, government of Punjab has introduced an ordinance according to which the manufacturers of fake number plates will be punished with a penalty of Rs.
15000-200000 and a one year prison. only those number plates will be considered legal that will be issued by the Excise department. while one month warning will be given to those who do not possess the original number plates, told Salman Sufi, in charge of special monitoring unit.
