PWS Donates Dialysis Machine To Allied Hospital

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Sep, 2018 ) ::Patient Welfare Society (PWS) in collaboration with medical social welfare project donated dialysis machine costing Rs.1.3 million to Nephrology Department of Allied Hospital, here Tuesday.
Deputy Commissioner Syed Ahmed Fawad handed over the machine to Dr Khurram Altaf, Medical Superintendent Allied Hospital, on behalf of the society. Additional MS Dr Akram Cheema and others were present on the occasion.
Addressing the ceremony, DC said that Punjab government was taking special measures for providing better health facilities to people.
He lauded the noble cause of the society as well as philanthropists and said that efforts of community cannot be ignored in serving the ailing people.
He hoped that this machine would prove helpful for extending health facility to kidney patients.
On the occasion, MS Dr Khuram briefed the Deputy Commissioner about performance of Nephrology Department.
