Qatar Embassy Claims Ownership Of Luxury Vehicles Recovered From Saifur Rehman

Customs Intelligence on Monday night recovered 21 luxury vehicles from the compound of a textile mills owned by PML-N leader Saifur Rehman.
Lahore (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 25th September, 2018) The luxury vehicles recovered from the warehouse of a factory for former National Accountability Bureau (NAB) chief Saifur Rehman belong to the Qatar embassy.
The Qatar embassy has admitted the ownership of the vehicles.
Media reports said that the Qatar embassy has also written a letter regarding ownership of the 26 lucury vehicles.
Customs Intelligence on Monday night recovered 21 luxury vehicles from the compound of a textile mills owned by PML-N leader Saifur Rehman.
The luxury vehicles were recovered from deserted building of Redco Textile Mills situated in Kallar Syedan area of Rawalpindi.
Saifur Rehman, a close aide of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, owns the textile mills.
According to Customs Intelligence officials, more than 40 luxury vehicles were parked in the textile mills building out of which 20 were shifted to some other place before the opersation.
Sources informed that all the vehicles bearing the number plates of Qatar Embassy. Sources further informed that the operation was conducted on the orders of DG Customs Intelligence Shaukat Ali.
