Quetta Blast: 05 Dead, Over 20 Injured

QUETTA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 8th Augst,2016) : Five people have reportedly been dead and over 20 including lawyers injured in a powerful bomb blast at Civil Hospital Quetta, here on Monday. The police sources said that a large number of lawyers and other people were gathered at Civil Hospital Quetta where the body of senior lawyer leader, Bilal Anwar Kasi was brought who was gunned down at Manno Jan Road Quetta by unknown armed assailants.
"Unknown men carried out bomb blast when the lawyers and other people were gathered there," they said, adding that resultantly, five people were killed and over 20 others injured. The rescue teams and law enforcement agencies have rushed to the scene and cordoned off the entire area. Further information are awaited.
