ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 8th August, 2016) : Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) on Monday strongly condemned Quetta blast and termed it a bid to destablise China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) projects. FPCCI Standing Committee Chairman Ahmad Jawad said, "Fast pace of CPEC project is disturbing our enemies that is why they are creating instability." Jawad said the completion of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) would enhance economic and industrial activities in Gwadar and usher in a new era of development and prosperity in the country especially in the province of Balochistan, said a press release. "This project would also positively contribute towards national security and solidarity.
" he added. He further said that after completion of CPEC, Gwadar sea port would serve as a gateway in the region. CPEC would not only reduce unemployment and poverty but also become a source of economic stability and mutual social benefits, Jawad added. FPCCI Vice President Riaz Khattak said Pakistan would continue moving towards economic development and the FPCCI was fully corporating with the government and the security forces to bring peace and harmony in the region. Balochistan is a life line of Pakistan and no one is allowed to destabilize the economic activities there, he said. He called upon the government to implement the National Action Plan (NAP) in complete letter and spirit and eliminate terrorists from society.
