LAHORE, Jan 6 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 06th Jan, 2017 ) : The Qul ceremony of Ustad Barey Fetah Ali Khan was held here on Friday afternoon in his residence at Mohni Road Lahore. A number of students and others related to music attended the Qul ceremony.

Ustad Fetah Ali Khan had passed away in Islamabad on January 4 at the age of 82 in PIMS hospital in Islamabad after a protracted illness. He rendered great services to the music and music lovers. The government of Pakistan awarded him pride of Performance and Tamgha-e-Imtiaz for his classical singing and music.
