Railways Minister Departs China To Sign Accord On ML-I

Federal Minister for Pakistan Railways Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed on Thursday said he is travelling to China to sign agreement on ML-I project.He said he had laid foundation stone of the project in 2007
Islamabad (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th April, 2019) Federal Minister for Pakistan Railways Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed on Thursday said he is travelling to China to sign agreement on ML-I project.He said he had laid foundation stone of the project in 2007.
It is 18 kilometer long project from Karachi to Peshawar and the project will generate 20,000 technical and over 150,000 other job opportunities.He said he will try to build consensus over ML-II as well.
Sheikh Rasheed said they are going to inaugurate Baba Guru Nanak station on November 12. He added today, Sikh community is also happy with the role of the prime minister and Army chief of Pakistan.The Railway Minister said Mother and Child hospital is closed in Rawalpindi and the PTI government is going to inaugurate that hospital too.
Making claim for a good performance, he said other just purchased engines to add money in their accounts whereas he made real development of the railway.He said the Railway Ministry is going to entre over 10,000 people on merit.
He said he will consider real success of his career if construction works on Nullah Lai would get started. He termed Kohala and ML-I projects as best development projects in Pakistan.He said the ministry had planned to launch as many as 40 trains in a year and the ministry is going to achieve this target.
