Railways To Be On Main Agenda Of PML-N Manifesto: Railways Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique

Railways Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique said on Saturday that Pakistan Railways had bright future and no one would be allowed to see it with an evil eye. Addressing an Iftar dinner organized by the railways officers in his honour at Mayo Gardens here, he said that the PML-N would place the railways at prominent position in its manifesto in the future
LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th May, 2018 ) :Railways Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique said on Saturday that Pakistan Railways had bright future and no one would be allowed to see it with an evil eye.
Addressing an Iftar dinner organized by the railways officers in his honour at Mayo Gardens here, he said that the PML-N would place the railways at prominent position in its manifesto in the future.
"I have developed a close relations with the railways officers and workers which will last forever," he said. The minister said that restoration of the railways was not a miracle as it got possible by only following right man for right job policy which put the wheel of the railways on the track of success.
He expressed his expectation that the railways officers would keep going on the process of the progress of the railways in future and they would resist every evil. The minister appreciated the railways CPEC team and said that after the completion of the projects under the CPEC, the railways would become one of the best railways in the world.
He paid tribute to the efforts and performance of those officers who worked day and night for the progress and development of the department. Saad said that trust in the hardworking and focused workers and officers of any department play a vital role in the success of that department.
He wished victory of democracy in result of the upcoming election and the new government might take the country forward. He prayed the desire of the nation about the supremacy of law and constitution might be fulfilled in the elections, adding that bitterness should not be prevailed as it destroyed the nations.
PR Chairman Javaid Anwar, CEO Aftab Akbar, CPEC leader of the railways Ashfaq Khatak and former chairperson Parveen Agha also addressed the ceremony.
