
Rain Kills 9, Injures As Many In KP: PDMA

PESHAWAR,(UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th july,2016) : The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) here Thursday issued report regarding deaths and damages due to heavy rains in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. According to the PDMA report, at least 9 people were killed and as many were injured in different district of KP while five houses were completely destroyed due to rains.
It said due to house collapse, landslide and floods two persons each were killed in Batagram, Shangla and Upper Dir while in Abbottabad three persons lost their lives. In Upper Dir one person was injured while in Kohistan 6 persons and in Abbottabad 2 persons sustained injured due to rain related incidents.
The report further said that five houses were completely destroyed while one was partially damaged as result of heavy rains.
