Ramazan Bazaars In Balochistan For Affordable Edibles On Cards

Balochistan government has planned to setup Ramazan Bazaars all over the province ensuring household items and edibles for the people at reasonable prices in the Holy month of Ramazan
Talking to APP, an official source on Monday said that the provincial government had made all preparations regarding Ramazan Bazaars and had devised mechanism to implement affordable rates of domestic and food items devised by the government.
He said that the authorities would pay surprise visits to the Ramazan Bazaars for ensuring the provision of subsidized commodities to the people, urging the districts administrations, trade unions and Utility Corporation to help them to discourage profiteering.
"Essential items and vegetables are available in abundant quantity and there will be no shortage of these items in the month of Ramazan.
"he said.
The government officials would also monitor the quality and weight of edible items, besides inquiring consumers visiting the bazaars in Ramazan, the source added.
He lauded the cleanliness arrangements made in Ramazan Bazaars adding that the districts' administration would depute sanitary workers and extra vehicles of Municipal Corporation to ensure cleanliness in the bazaars.
He urged the public to cooperate with the municipal authorities and not throw the waste outside dumpsters.
He said the government was in touch with the electricity supplying company to ensure uninterrupted power supply during the month of Ramazan, especially Sehr and Iftar timings.
He said the government has also directed the traffic police department to ensure smooth and hassle-free traffic in Ramazan.
