Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) Seals Seven Site Offices Of Illegal Housing Schemes; Demolishes Three

Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) under its ongoing operation against illegal housing schemes has sealed seven site offices including New Model Town, Al-Karim Builders, Al-Barak Enclave, Ideal City, Safari Enclave-II, Saphire Valley and Maryam Green City and also demolished three offices including Ideal Farm House, Safari Green Homes and Saphire Enclave-II at G T Road, Adyala Road and Gujjar Khan Rawalpindi.
RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Nov, 2018 ) :Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) under its ongoing operation against illegal housing schemes has sealed seven site offices including New Model Town, Al-Karim Builders, Al-Barak Enclave, Ideal City, Safari Enclave-II, Saphire Valley and Maryam Green City and also demolished three offices including Ideal Farm House, Safari Green Homes and Saphire Enclave-II at G T Road, Adyala Road and Gujjar Khan Rawalpindi.
According to Director, Metropolitan Planning and Traffic Engineering (MP&TE), RDA Jamshaid Aftab the housing schemes were declared illegal and unauthorized advertisements.
He said under Punjab Private Housing schemes laws and Land Sub-division Rules 2010, notices were being issued to the owners of illegal housing schemes.
MP&TE Directorate's Staff including Assistant Director Planning, Samiullah Niazi, Superintendent Scheme, Scheme Inspector and others in collaboration with the police carried out operation G T road in Gujjar Khan and Adyala Road Rawalpindi areas.
The owners of the housing schemes were running illegal projects in violation of the laws.
The Director MP&TE informed that RDA has advised the general public not to make any investment in any illegal and unauthorized Housing Scheme which had been declared illegal by RDA. He said, the authority had requested Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO), Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Ltd (SNGPL) and ptcl, not to extendservices to illegal housing schemes.
