Rawalpindi Police Arrest 27 Lawbreakers

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 09th Feb, 2018 ) :Police in crackdown against anti-social elements have arrested 27 lawbreakers and recovered 6867 grams charras, 30 liters and six bottles of liquor, three 10 bore pistols with 36 rounds, 773 kites, 16 kite flying string rolls, Rs22,880 cash stake money, four mobile phones, Saffron worth Rs 2.5 million and other items from their possession.
According to a police spokesman, Rattamral police rounded up Muzaffar for having 3497 grams charras and Yasir with 3250 grams charras. Waris Khan police arrested Baseer and recovered 10 liters liquor.
R.A.Bazar police seized 10 liters liquor from Tasawar while Gujar Khan police apprehended Pervaiz for carrying six bottles of liquor. R.A.Bazar police arrested Shafique and Shanshah Khan for running an illegal LPG agency.
Civil Line police booked Haroon, Saif, Hameed, Aman and Bashir who were violating renting rules.
Other accused were sent behind the bars for having illegal weapons, drugs and liquor. The spokesman said, Rawalpindi police on the directive of City Police Officer conducting raids against kite sellers and kite flying ban violators.
Five kite sellers were netted during last 24 hours and Waris Khan, Race Course, Civil Line, Saddar Baroni police recovered 773 kites and 16 kite flying string rolls from Saeed, Zain, Ghulam Mustafa, Suleman and Sajid.
Meanwhile, Jatli police acting on a tip-off conducted a raid in Machia area in its jurisdiction and held four gamblers namely Saleem, Zafran, Fayyaz and Saleem and recovered Rs22880 cash stake money, four mobile phones and Saffron worth Rs2.5 million from their possession.
