RDA Decides To Construct Underpass In Front Of Benazir Bhutto Hospital, Overhead Bridges On Airport Road

Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) has decided to construct an underpass in front of the Benazir Bhutto Hospital and two over head bridges on Airport Road for the pedestrians
Rawalpindi (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th March, 2019) Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) has decided to construct an underpass in front of the Benazir Bhutto Hospital and two over head bridges on Airport Road for the pedestrians.According to media reports, Director General RDA Meher Muhammad Hayat has issued orders for the construction of pedestrian bridges on Airport road for the facility of citizens to cross road.
He said that in order to overcome the complaints and difficulties of citizens, two pedestrian bridges on Chaklala Shah Khalid Colony and Gulzar Quaid and an underpass on Murree road near Benazir Bhutto hospital will be constructed to save people from accidents.He said that these projects has been included in the annual development programme, however due to increase number of accidents at Shah Khalid Colony, RDA is trying hard to construct Right of Way for pedestrians as soon as possible.
