RDA Declares Commercial, Residential Constructions In Elite Reverie Housing Scheme Illegal

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th May, 2019 ) :Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) has declared commercial and residential constructions in Elite Reverie Housing Scheme, Kashmir Highway Rawalpindi are illegal.

According to RDA spokesman Hafiz Muhammad Irfan, the owners of the properties in the housing scheme constructed illegal residential and commercial buildings without prior approval of the authorities concerned and No Objection Certificates (NOCs) besides violating Punjab Development of Cities Act 1976 and RDA Building and Zoning Regulations 2007.

He advised the citizens not to invest in illegal projects and check status of the housing societies at RDA's official website which was updated regularly.

The Director General RDA, Nadeem Ahmad Abro had directed the Land Use and Building Control (LU&BC) Wing, RDA to take strict action against illegal and unauthorized commercial cum residential construction activities and encroachments without any discrimination, he added.
