
RDA Seals 14 Shops, Buildings Illegally Constructed

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th july, 2016) :- Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) on Monday sealed 14 properties including shops illegally constructed here in Gulraiz Housing Scheme. According to RDA spokesman, President Gulraiz Housing Society had also submitted an application against illegal commercialization in Gulraiz Housing Scheme.
A special RDA team with the assistance of district police under the supervision of Enforcement Department Incharge Rana Tariq Javed on the directives of Commissioner Rawalpindi Division/Director General, RDA Azmat Mahmud, sealed 14 properties including godowns, furniture showrooms and several shops illegally constructed in the society.
He warned the citizens not to violate the building rules otherwise strict action in accordance with the law would be taken against the rules violators. RDA's building control department is conducting operations regularly against illegal and unauthorized commercial and residential construction and encroachments in the city, he added.
