Released Indian Pilot Abhinandan’s Debriefing Completed

Lahore (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 14th March, 2019) The debriefing of Indian Air Force (IAF) pilot Abhinandan Varthaman has been completed.
The Indian intelligence agencies had taken the debriefing from Abhinandan.
Indian media reported that the pilot would now go on sick leave for a few weeks upon doctor’s advice.
Wing Commander Abhinandan was arrested by Pakistani forces on February 27 when his aircraft was shot down by Pakistan Air Force after violation of Pakistan air-space.
Pakistan released Indian fighter pilot Wing Commander Abhinandan and handed him over to Indian authorities at Wagah Border on March 1.
His release was announced by Prime Minister Imran Khan as a peace gesture during a speech in Joint Session of the Parliament.
The Indian pilot was transported to Wahga Border after his traveling documents were finalized by Pakistani officials.
After returning to India, Abhinandan has been in the custody of Indian intelligence agencies.
Abhinandan was also interrogated about why he gave a video statement in favour of Pakistan Army.
