Reply sought from Law Department over non appointment of AGP

The Lahore High Court (LHC) Wednesday sought a reply from provincial Law Department over non appointment of Advocate General Punjab (AGP), till September 14.

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Sep, 2018 ) :The Lahore High Court (LHC) Wednesday sought a reply from provincial Law Department over non appointment of Advocate General Punjab (AGP), till September 14.

The single bench comprising Justice Ibad-ur-Rehman Lodhi passed the orders while hearing a petition.

The court expressed dismay over non appointment of the AGP after it was informed that the office was vacant.

Judicial matters are being affected due to the vacant slot, the court remarked.
