Rescue 1122 Conducts Swift Flood Relief Operation

GUJRAT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Jul, 2025) Rescue 1122 Gujraton Saturday carried out a flood relief operation in Jhelum district following flash floods triggered by heavy rainfall.

According to a spokesperson,the operation,led by District Emergency Officer (DEO) Gujrat,Umar Akbar was conducted in coordination with local authorities.

The rescue team reached the affected areas promptly and began relief efforts,including evacuation and aid delivery.

Using boats and safety equipment,the team relocated around 100 people from inundated areas to safer locations.

Local administration and residents acknowledged the timely response and effective coordination during the emergency.
