A resolution remembering martyrs of Army Public School Peshawar was submitted in the Punjab assembly on Thursday.
In the resolution, mover Hina Pervaiz Butt MPA stated that the Peshawar school massacre, that occurred on 16 December 2014 and in which 145 people including 132 school children and ten staff members embraced martyrdom, was barbaric and highly condemnable act.
She said despite passage of four years, the nation was still sad over the severe tragedy and shared the loss of those whose dear ones fell victim to the deadly attack.
Hina maintained that the House wanted to pay tribute to the martyrs of Army Public School and reiterated that such cowardly attacks cannot deter the morale and resolve of the nation.
