
Revenue Indicators Reviewed

MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Jul, 2025) A revenue review meeting was held under the chairmanship of Commissioner Multan, Amir Kareem Khan, where all revenue indicators were thoroughly examined.
Detailed discussions were held on revenue recovery, court cases, stay orders and KPIs.
The commissioner issued clear directives to revenue officers to improve key performance indicators and resolve pending revenue cases promptly. He emphasized that rightful dues must be delivered without delay and warned that unnecessarily delaying old files paves the way for corruption, which will not be tolerated.
He also ordered immediate action against staff involved in corrupt practices.
Revenue officers were directed to play an active role in achieving recovery targets and to prepare reports with defined timelines for all cases.
The commissioner stressed the need to accelerate the accuracy and digitization of revenue records.
Highlighting the urgency of resolving land disputes, the commissioner stated that delays are unacceptable.
He directed all revenue officers to submit weekly progress reports and to deal with old land cases seriously to ensure transparency.
Public issues at sub-registrar offices must be resolved immediately, and officers were instructed to maintain respectful conduct, transparency, and swift responses in dealing with citizens at revenue offices. Effective monitoring and prompt resolution of complaints were termed essential for improving the revenue system.
The meeting was attended by deputy commissioners, additional commissioners (revenue), additional deputy commissioners (revenue), and assistant commissioners (revenue).
