RPO Visits Churches, Shrines To Check Security In Bahawalpur

Regional Police Officer Imran Mehmood paid a surprise visit to different churches situated in Bahawalpur

BAHAWALPUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th May, 2019 ) :Regional Police Officer Imran Mehmood paid a surprise visit to different churches situated in Bahawalpur.

He inspected the security of the churches and directed the on-duty police personnel to keep vigilant during duty and check all the visitors thoroughly.

Regional Police Officer also visited shrines in Uch Sharif to monitor the security arrangements.

He instructed to check the visiting pilgrims through metal detectors and walkthrough gates and CCTV cameras should be used for monitoring of security situation at shrines and other religious places.

He directed all the three District Police Officers to beef up security at Madni Iftaar Dastarkhwans, Ramzan Bazaars, Imam Bargahs and places of worship of minority communities. He appreciated the police personnel who were performing duties at sensitives places during the holy month of Ramzan.
