The Punjab government has allocated Rs 200 million as development for the Food department during fiscal year 2018-19.
LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Oct, 2018 ) :The Punjab government has allocated Rs 200 million as development for the Food department during fiscal year 2018-19.
According to the budget documents, Rs 199 million have been allocated for ongoing schemes and Rs 1 million for a new scheme.
The allocation has been made to ensure food security and safety for the inhabitants of the province through provision of essential food stuff at affordable prices andsafeguard the interest of wheat growers through support price.
