Rs 29,500 mln allocated for roads

The provincial government has earmarked Rs 29,500 million for the roads for remaining eight months of the current fiscal year from November 2018 to June 2019, with a vision to upgrade, augment and maintain a modern road network in the province under most cost effective, optimal and efficient development and management regimes.

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Oct, 2018 ) :The provincial government has earmarked Rs 29,500 million for the roads for remaining eight months of the current fiscal year from November 2018 to June 2019, with a vision to upgrade, augment and maintain a modern road network in the province under most cost effective, optimal and efficient development and management regimes.

According to the budget documents, Rs 19,475 million has been set aside for ongoing schemes and Rs 10,025 million for new schemes.
