Rs. 3 Billion Allocated For Beautification Of Abbottabad: Minister

ABBOTTABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Feb, 2018 ) :Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Higher Education Mushtaq Ghani here Monday said Rs. 3 billion were allocated for beautification of Abbottabad City.
He said provincial government was committed to address the issues of common people and provide them all basic amenities of life to them at their doorsteps. The Minister expressed these views while addressing inauguration ceremony of several newly-built schools in Government High school No.
3 Abbottabad. He said the government was spending huge funds to improve education in the province and achieved their target in the education sector. Mushtaq Ghani maintained the network of schools, colleges and universities has been widened in the province, KP government is fulfilling its promise of change by reforming education, health, police and local government sectors.
The minister stated the local government system has also been strengthened in the province by providing development funds to local councils.
Talking about the developmental schemes in Abbottabad city he said a fund of over 3 billion rupees have been allocated under beautification plan of city that includes repairs of several roads, a zoo, two family parks and up gradation of library.
The contract for construction of Abbottabad by-pass road has been awarded to Frontier Works Organization (FWO) and the Chief Minister KP is expected to inaugurate the project during next week and the issue of traffic jam in city will be resolved once for all after completion of this project, the minister said.
Ghani claimed the provincial government is fully aware of problems of masses and determined to resolve them at earliest. A large number of people from all walks of life including students, teachers and civil society were present on the occasion.
