Rs 376 Bln To Be Collected As Revenue Through Budget: Minister

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Oct, 2018 ) :Provincial Minister for Revenue Malik Muhammad Anwar on Tuesday said no new tax was being imposed in the current budget and Rs 376 billion would be collected in the form of revenue by the Punjab government.
During media talk at Punjab Assembly on the occasion of budget for financial year 2018-19 here, he said an e-procurement system was going to be installed to ensure full transparency at the government level. More reforms would be introduced in Punjab Revenue Authority for improvement, he added.
He said Rs. 276 billion were expected in the shape of Tax and Rs 100 billion expected in the shape of non-tax revenue.
He hoped that the current budget would further strengthen the 100-day plan of Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
