Sadiqabad's Lawyers Observe Strike

On the call of bar association, lawyers' fraternity in Sadiqabad observed strike in protest against not allocating land for chambers of advocates.

BAHAWALPUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Apr, 2018 ) :On the call of bar association, lawyers' fraternity in Sadiqabad observed strike in protest against not allocating land for chambers of advocates.

Talking to media persons, president, Sadiqabad Bar Association, Jam Lal Bakhsh, the general secretary, Mian Abdul Hafeez and other lawyer leaders including Aijaz Hussain Chauhdary, Zulfiqar Ali Goraya and Muhammad Khaliq Arshad said that lawyers' fraternity of Sadiqabad went to observe strike as land was not allocated for construction of chambers for lawyers.

"We have reservations that modern judicial complex was constructed in Sadiqabad with cost of millions of rupees but land was not spared for lawyers to construct chambers there," they said. They appealed to Chief Justice, Lahore High Court to resolve the issue confronted by Sadiqabad's lawyers.
