Sale Of Substandard Beverages Continues In Sargodha

SARGODHA, May 9 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 09th May, 2017 ) : The sale of substandard beverages has increased in the city with the rising temperatures, which are causing serious health issues among people.

Roadside vendors are selling unhygienic drinks and the common man is compelled to rely on them due to high prices of soft drinks and juices.

These unhygienic items are also being sold in front of educational institutes, and no action is being taken against the sellers by the authorities concerned.

Dr Usman Basra told APP that such beverages cause various diseases among people especially children. He urged people to avoid these beverages. A district administration official said that strict action would be taken against those involved in sale of unhygienic and low-quality food items beverages.
