Saqib Zafar Assumes Charge As Secretary SH&ME

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Jun, 2018 ) :Secretary Specialized Healthcare and Medical Education (SH&ME) Saqib Zafar on Sunday assumed the charge of his office and chaired a meeting of departmental briefing.
Special Secretary Health Usman Moazzam, Additional Secretary Technical Dr. Salman Shahid, Chief Planning Officer Abdul Haq Bhatti and other concerned officers attended the briefing session. The secretary health was briefed about the working of different wings of the department.
He was briefed about the development wing, administration technical, medical education and hospital waste management system.
While, addressing the meeting, Secretary Health Saqib Zafar said that strengthening of the health sector and provision of quality healthcare services to people was the priority of the government.
He advised the officers and officials to discharge their duties with a spirit to serve the ailing humanity.
The Secretary directed that satisfactory arrangements to be ensured in the teaching hospitals as well as specialized healthcare institutions for patients and their attendants.
