Sargodha Man Allegedly Sold Daughter To Chinese National, FIA Foils Human Smuggling Bid

The Chinese national involved in the abduction attempt was arrested from the airport.

Islamabad (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 20th February, 2019) The immigration officials of Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) foiled a bid to kidnap Pakistani woman at New Islamabad International Airport.

The Chinese national, Zwan Li Zhang, involved in the abduction attempt was arrested from the airport.

Media reports said that the father of the girl belonging to Sargodha had allegedly sold her daughter to the Chinese national for Rs 5 lac.

However, when the immigration authorities interrogated the Chinese national upon seeing his documents, he got speechless.

The girl, named Silvia, told the authorities that her father had sold her to the Chinese national and that she wants to go back home.

Silvia alleged that her father had previously sold her to a Negro as well. She was sent back to Pakistan after she protested at Qatar airport.

Silvia said that her parents will again compromise on her if she is sent back to them.

The girl further told the authorities that the Chinese national had opened up a marriage bureau in Islamabad with the help of a Pakistani man.

The FIA authorities shifted the girl and the Chinese national to anti-human smuggling cell where they will be interrogated.
