Saylani Trust opens new branch in Peshawar for free meal distribution among needy people

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th Jul, 2024) Saylani Welfare Trust, a charity organization helping needy people in different parts of the country, has opened its new branch on Friday for distribution of free meal among needy people in provincial metropolis, Peshawar.

The inauguration of new office of Saylani was jointly performed by Afan Aziz, a prominent industrialist of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and head of Aziz Jan Welfare Trust, and Shafiq Miadad, Trustee Member Saylani Trust Faisalabad city.

Both Afan Aziz and Shafiq Miandad distributed lunch among hundreds of need people gathered outside the new office of Saylani at Saddar area of Peshawar.

Speaking on the occasion, Afan Aziz said Saylani Welfare Trust is doing a remarkable service by providing free meal to thousands of people in the country at two times on daily basis.

Apart from free meal, the charity organization is also providing free Information Technology (IT) training to thousands of students in different cities of the country.

The approach of imparting educational, especially IT, learning to country’s youth is a ray of hope for overcoming the crisis being faced by our country, Afan expressed the hope.

He urged people those who can afford to come forward and contribute in this noble cause of providing free education to country’s youth, enabling them to stand on their own feet and contribute in brining stability in the country.

Shafiq Miandad in his speech informed about the services of Saylani Trust in providing vocational training in Faisalabad to both male and female with the objective of making people economically empowered.

This milestone marks a significant step in Saylani’s ongoing commitment to serve and uplift the underprivileged communities in the country, Shafiq added.

It merits a mention here that the Karachi based trust has joined hands with Aziz Jan Trust of Senator Mohsin Aziz in Peshawar and imparted modern information technology skills to around three thousand students on free of cost basis.

In coming month, new batch of around 1200 to 1400 students will be selected for provision of skill based IT training.

Afan Aziz also disclosed that both Saylani and Aziz Jan Welfare Trust will soon open IT training institutes in three major cities of Khyber Pakhtunhwa including Mardan, Charsadda and Abbotabad to provide opportunity to students of these region to gain benefit from this free IT courses.
